Mesh Skirt

I apologize for the low quality photos. It was dark already when my college bestfriend took these photos and taking photos using a 50mm f.18 lens is a struggle during night time because of difficulty in focusing your subject.

Anyway, back to my outfit. I wore this last year to my college bestfriend's bithday party at a seafood restaurant in the city. We ate a lot and sang our favourite songs because the restaurant's function room had a videoke machine. Considering that the mesh skirt's colour is white, it can blend with any colour but I think it blends perfectly with cobalt blue. Mesh skirt is the trend lately for it puts twist on your skirt with this "peek a boo sort of transparent mechanism" on the skirt.

Looking at the photos, I can only say that I gained weight like sh*t and it affects my look on my outfits. Sorry for the expletive but it is such a big problem for an ordinary girl like me who is constantly on stress due to my demanding law school life who is struggling to survive law school and struggling to maintain normal weight. Stress eating is what I do when I am so stressed. My gosh! I have to lose weight!

I love shoes over bags! In just a span of 1 week, I bought five pairs of shoes from the Celine store! But what I love about these shoes are not only their style but also their price and promos. I bought them all on a reduced price! I'm such a lucky gal! :)

This is what I wore during our beauty and fashion shoot that me and my good friend Mai organized. I paired the Denim Vest with Denim Shorts and made my outfit look softer by wearing it with a pink tank top. For extra comfort throughout the photo shoot, I wore loafers. :)

PS: Me and Mai will be posting about the shoot soooooon! Mai was in charge of the make-up and I was in charge of styling the models. So excited! :)

Looking for Love

On this look, the dress was given to me by my mother.

So, how did I get this dress? Well, I found this dress on her closet; fitted it; then caught by my mother wearing her dress - it was like a bit awkward being caught in the act! When my mother saw me wearing the dress, she said, “Bagay nimu ang dress! Imuha nana day!” (The dress looks good on you, that dress is now yours.). But, I insisted to my mother not to have her dress since the dress also looks good on her. So what my mother did? She went to the department store and bought the exact same dress and gave it to me! haha I did not expect that she would do such thing! That was so sweet! We have the same dress! :) I have no choice but to accept the dress that she gave to me.

Thank you mama! :) You’re the best mom ever!

The pair of Celine shoes belong to my pretty close friend, Mae. She lent the shoes to me because she knows that the shoes are perfect for the dress - and she’s correct! :)
