My Lady!

Blazer - WAGW | Top - Celine | Belt - WAGW | White Pants - Natasha Jeans | Heels - Gibi Collection

Like a boss! haha

At law school, every Wednesday is a "corporate look" day. We are required by our dean to wear our corporate attire every Wednesday at law school. So I grabbed a chance to pull off a corporate attire like this every Wednesday. This is like my practice on how to dress appropriately as a lawyer when I become a lawyer in God's time.

I want to maintain the colors of my corporate attire sweet and not to loud so I choose white pants to balance the colors of my entire outfit, a pink blazer then paired it with a lighter pink polka-dot top and then picked a blue and green heels to complete my look.

Blue and Yellow

With my previous blogpost, which is an all-black outfit, this time I choose to have these lively colors, yellow, green and blue for this outfit post. This outfit reminds me of summer, I mean the month of May (since in our country, Philippines, it's always summer here! haha). Don't forget to hype the look at lookbook!

That's Why I'm Asking You!

The graphic t-shirt has a print design of our law professor's usual facial expression during our oral examinations with his famous sarcastic remark every time we return back his questions during such.

Our class agreed to print a t-shirt with such design to show our admiration to our law professor on Persons and Family Relations Law, Atty. Joseph Randi Torregosa. Atty. Torregosa's way of teaching is what we reckoned as the most effective one at law school. He assigned us lots of chapters on the book and the range of 30-45 Supreme Court Cases to read in advance for his mighty oral examinations. He's a law professor with a great sense of humor. There's no single class that we had from him that we don't laugh at his effortless jokes and at the same time we learn a lot from them too. But what I don't like is his "brain-bleeding" written examinations. I even cried after our final exams on his subject because it was sooooooooooo hard and he just laughed at us during the exam upon seeing our face on great agony at his exam. Thank God I passed the subject! haha

Back to the outfit, so I choose the dark colors like black and gray to match the graphic t-shirt because I want to try pulling off a punk/rockstar/grunge/whateveryoucallit look. haha :)

Flower Girl

This is my current favorite dress. This is a baby-doll dress which is designed to cut the body in half (which I also used a belt for emphasis), and such design is a great help for those girls who want to look slimmer. Aside from the dress' girly design and  the cut, the flower prints on the dress made the dress look even more "girlier". Even the mother of my best friend, Kristhy (who took the photos below) likes the dress so much. I will never forget that she told me that I look like a "kid" every time I wear this dress. :)

Outfit:
Floral Dress - Bazaar Find
Black Pumps - Figlia
Bucket Bag - Cose

Necklace - Blair's (my former room mate)

Special thanks to my best friend, Kristhy for taking the above photos! <3

Hello Second Semester!

"Start with what you already know and start working with what you can do." - Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

My hard work during my first semester as a freshman Law student has been finally paid off! I passed all the subjects of the first semester and that was NOT definitely a piece of cake. Before I entered Law School, I thought Law School is not that difficult but I was wrong. I never expected that time that in Law School, we are required to read lots of books, and in addition, SUPREME COURT DECISIONS! Imagine, one law professor would just give you 20 or sometimes 45 Supreme Court Decisions (each decision has an average page numbers of 4 to 10 on a long bond paper, using font size 9, VERY LONG!) to read for the oral examinations and another professor would also give a set of cases and you need to read them in a span of 2 or 3 or 4 days!

Law School is NEVER EASY. My law professor who is also the dean of the School of Law and Governance of the University of San Carlos once said that, "Law School is not all about intelligence, it's also about diligence." She is correct. Becoming a lawyer does not only require a man with high IQ it also needs diligence, without the latter, Law School would be impossible to survive.

On November 5, 2012 will be the start of my 2nd semester as a freshman Law Student, still, I hope and pray that I can survive this semester. For me, not only intelligence and diligence are primary ingredients in surviving Law School but also
divine intervention.

For God be the Glory! :)

Fashion Inspiration: Paris, Milan and New York Fashion Week, Spring 2013

I have another dream: to go to a fashion week and take photos of the people attending such like these!

I think this shot is really cute. The uniform of the cops and the top of the girl are coincidentally matched!

What a lovely stolen shot by Philip Oh!
