Usually, before the semester starts or after a very stressful semester, I reward myself by buying what I love, which is a pair of good shoes. I'm a "shoe lady". I prefer buying more shoes over bags. These are my latest shoe purchases that I bought at SM Mall of Asia while strolling around the mall two weeks ago.

Malling
Last week, me and my fellow volunteers, who are the members of the USC Bar Operations, a student organization of our law school, went to Manila to give assistance to the Carolinian Barristers in preparing for the Bar Exam. We stayed at Manila for three days and two nights. The first two days were very busy because we need to prepare the Barrister's notes, kits, etc; Although it was a bit tiresome, it is the feeling of fulfillment that we get from helping our Carolinian Barristers that prevails. The third day of our stay in Manila was our free day; so before heading to airport for our flight back home, we dropped by at the SM Mall of Asia for a stroll and to buy some gifts for our families and friends. This is what I wore to the mall. :)

Postcards from the Sky
“In the sky there are always answers and explanations for everything: every pain,
every suffering, joy and confusion.” - Ishmael Beah, A Long Way Gone
A 7.2 Magnitude earthquake struck my hometown, the province of Bohol (Philippines) last Tuesday. Despite of being thankful that my family is safe and our town is not adversely affected by the earthquake at Bohol, my heart broke when I saw the news that almost 200 people died and our very old churches (3 to 4 centuries old), roads, municipal halls and houses were also destroyed because of the earthquake. I hope we, the Boholanos can surpass this test that God gave. I know that Bohol shall rise again from the rubble.
Bangon Bohol! Rise Bohol!
I am very thankful to those kind-hearted people who sent relief goods and gave assistance to my fellow Boholanos.
PS: I took these photos during my flight to Manila last Saturday morning. Didn't you notice those cracks at the lower part of the photos? I think there is something wrong with my lens. :(

Fashion Inspirations - October 2013
While suffering from a toothache last night, I was reading and looking for awesome blogs as my diversional activity to at least minimize the pain I feel from tootache and also at the same time waiting for my painkillers to take effect, when I discovered this chic Germany-based Filipina fashion blogger Angelica Lorenz of modejunkie.com (at the last four photos above). I ended up spending my supposedly 1 hour of facing the wall at the law library while waiting for my tooth pain to subside with reading her posts which I reckoned is much much better way of spending that shitty 1 hour and was able to save her fashionable and lovely photos from her blog, make them as my fashion inspirations and post them here. Angelica inspires me to blog more despite of my busy schedule as a second year law student. I just love her style!
